CardiShed is volunteer run community project. We are an inclusive non-judgmental organisation where everyone is made to feel welcome. We have a fully equipped machine shop, including wood turning, green woodwork and a community allotment but have room and the enthusiasm to grow.
We are at the Old Timber Yard, Queens Terrace, Cardigan, SA43 1BY.
CardiShed is a space where people can come and meet and get creative. It's a place where people can share knowledge and skills learn new ones. It's a place where people can gain a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.
CardiShed is helping to build a strong resilient community which reduces isolation and loneliness so people can deal with personal challenges more easily and remain independent.
Starting in May, CardiShed will be open every Friday for a Women's support day. Matt, our green woodwork tutor will be running weekly craft sessions. All materials and refreshments will be paid for, but donations are greatly received.
A huge thank you to CAVO for accepting our application to their Communities Count Grant.
We are delighted that Jess Elmhirst is running a monthly maker workshop which runs on the last Wednesday of every month. If you'd like to book a place please contact Jess on
