CardiShed is volunteer run community project. We are an inclusive non-judgmental organisation where everyone is made to feel welcome. We have a fully equipped machine shop, including wood turning, green woodwork and a community allotment but have room and the enthusiasm to expand.
We are at the Old Timber Yard, Queens Terrace in Cardigan.
Sheds are about meeting like-minded people and having someone to share your worries with. They are about having fun, sharing skills and knowledge and gaining a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.
Sheds reduce isolation and loneliness so people can deal with personal challenges more easily and remain independent.
Sheds help build communities.
Starting in May, CardiShed will be open every Friday for a Women's support day. Matt, our green woodwork tutor will be running weekly craft sessions. All materials and refreshments will be paid for, but donations are greatly received.
A huge thank you to CAVO for accepting our application to their Communities Count Grant.
We are delighted that Jess Elmhirst is running a monthly maker workshop which runs on the last Wednesday of every month. If you'd like to book a place please contact Jess on
